Compatible coatings

Water-based architectural paints and stains, plus compatible oil-based coatings that clean up with mineral spirits and have an SDS flash point above 100°F. Use only coatings whose required tip size is within the X5 maximum of 0.015 inch. Check primers and thicker paints before booking.

Send Mark the coating label and Safety Data Sheet before booking any oil-based product. The coating must suit the installed tip and machine; a higher-pressure setting does not make an incompatible coating safe. Follow the coating label, ventilation, grounding and protective-equipment instructions.

Do not use

No flammable coatings or solvents, lacquer, solvent-based shellac, acetone, lacquer thinner, xylene, toluene, naphtha, MEK, denatured alcohol, turpentine or chlorine bleach. SprayFleet also prohibits texture compound, block filler, epoxy, two-part coatings, roofing coatings, elastomeric coatings and abrasive materials.

Return clean and ready

Relieve pressure as directed in the manual. For approved water-based coatings, have a 5-gallon bucket of clean water available and flush the pump, hose and gun until clear; use more water if needed. Clean tips and filters. Oil-based coatings require the manufacturer-approved cleaning fluid, not water alone. Never leave paint drying in the machine or hose. Contain and properly dispose of waste. A $200 refundable security deposit applies.

Pickup, delivery and return

Choose 1, 3 or 7 days. Free garage pickup and return in Colorado Springs, Monday–Saturday, 8 AM–5 PM. Delivery is $30 and collection is $30 within 20 miles of our garage. Check the booking times before checkout. Applicable tax and optional transport are additional.
