Compatible coatings

Compatible latex and oil-based paints, primers, stains, preservatives and other nonabrasive coatings. Match the coating to a ControlMax tip with an orifice no larger than 0.015 inch. Paint and cleaning fluid must have a flash point of at least 100°F; oil-based products require Mark’s approval before use.

Send Mark the coating label and Safety Data Sheet before booking any oil-based product. The coating must suit the installed tip and machine; a higher-pressure setting does not make an incompatible coating safe. Follow the coating label, ventilation, grounding and protective-equipment instructions.

Battery power does not remove grounding requirements. Use the grounding wire and clips exactly as the Titan manual requires for non-water-based coatings and flushing.

Do not use

No texture compound, block filler, lacquer, industrial enamel, asphalt sealer or materials containing halogenated hydrocarbons, such as methylene chloride or trichloroethane. No chlorine bleach or flammable cleaning solvents. SprayFleet also prohibits epoxy, two-part coatings and roofing coatings.

Return clean and ready

Relieve pressure as directed in the manual. For approved water-based coatings, have a 5-gallon bucket of clean water available and refill the tank with the appropriate cleaning fluid as directed and flush the pump, hose and gun until clear; use more water if needed. Clean tips and filters. Oil-based coatings require the manufacturer-approved cleaning fluid, not water alone. Never leave paint drying in the machine or hose. Contain and properly dispose of waste. A $200 refundable security deposit applies.

Pickup, delivery and return

Choose 1, 3 or 7 days. Free garage pickup and return in Colorado Springs, Monday–Saturday, 8 AM–5 PM. Delivery is $30 and collection is $30 within 20 miles of our garage. Check the booking times before checkout. Applicable tax and optional transport are additional.
