Compatible coatings

The RP8626 manual allows suitable water-based or mineral-spirit-type coatings. For SprayFleet rentals, oil-based products and cleaning fluids require Mark’s approval and an SDS flash point above 100°F. The paint label’s required tip and viscosity must suit the supplied machine and accessories.

Send Mark the coating label and Safety Data Sheet before booking any oil-based product. The coating must suit the installed tip and machine; a higher-pressure setting does not make an incompatible coating safe. Follow the coating label, ventilation, grounding and protective-equipment instructions.

Do not use

No halogenated solvents, flammable materials, lacquer, solvent-based shellac, acetone, lacquer thinner, gasoline or chlorine bleach. SprayFleet also prohibits texture compound, block filler, epoxy, two-part coatings, roofing coatings and abrasive products. Do not thin paint unless its manufacturer permits it.

Return clean and ready

Relieve pressure as directed in the manual. For approved water-based coatings, have a 5-gallon bucket of clean water available and flush the pump, hose and gun until clear; use more water if needed. Clean tips and filters. Oil-based coatings require the manufacturer-approved cleaning fluid, not water alone. Never leave paint drying in the machine or hose. Contain and properly dispose of waste. A $200 refundable security deposit applies.
